Celebrity personal trainer, Jillian Michaels, is vocal about her opposition to the trendy keto diet.
The high protein, low carbs diet, was originally introduced in the 1920’s, to help people control epileptic seizures. Recently, it’s also been credited for reducing blood sugar levels in people with Type 2 diabetes.
But for non-diabetics, Jillian thinks that keto is a “terrible, terrible idea.”
She told Business Insider that there are tons of downsides to keto that people aren’t talking about.
