WATCH: FAMILY CONFIRMS AQUINO’S DEATH

Pinky Aquino-Abellada reads a statement at the Heritage Park in Taguig City confirming the death of her brother, the late president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino 3rd. Abellada said Aquino died of ‘renal disease secondary to diabetes’ at 6:30 a.m. on June 24, 2021. There were no details on the wake or the funeral as health restrictions have been imposed by the government because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
